For your shopping needs, this community of around 107,000 has a Wal-Mart, Westfield Shopping Mall and an excellent downtown with cool restaurants and eclectic shops. A bustling Fairfield Downtown Association boasts a
weekly farmer's market in the summer and fall, loads of shopping for finding that perfect accessory to your Fairfield apartment, and year round events including a Tomato Festival, a Candy Festival and all-American Fourth of July and Veteran's Day parades. A walking tour of the city is available at the Downtown Association Website at this clickable link of the
Fairfield Mainstreet Association. The city is very organized and offers so much to residents of Fairfield apartments. At the city website, a link allows people to choose from a wide variety of courses, from becoming a notary public to learning to belly dance. | Fun at a Fairfield CA Park! |
Of course, outdoor activities abound here as well. While there may not be too many
parks in Fairfield, just driving through the hills of the city in a convertible or a motorcycle is invigorating enough. Rockville Hills Regional Park and Fairfield Linear Park are basically walking, hiking, biking and picnicking parks, while Alan Witt Park offers a bit more. This park provides the Fairfield Sports Center, where groups can gather to play ball, swim or just relax in the sauna, City of Fairfield Rotary Skate Park, and the brand new Alan Witt Aquatic Complex. The park itself provides volleyball courts and horseshoe pits, tennis courts, a recreation building, picnic area, ball fields and basketball courts. It's a great place to hang out with your buddies from your Fairfield apartments.
The city of Fairfield also has three golf courses, two public and one private. The two public parks, Paradise Valley and Rancho Solano Golf Courses, have been rated in the Zagat Survey of "America's Best Golf Courses," and have received kudos from Golf Digest Magazine.
The Center for Creative Arts hosts performances throughout the year, and has a gallery with local and regional artistic works displayed. The gallery is open Thursday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with new exhibits each month.
So, whether you enjoy the outdoors or indoor events like shopping and creative work, the lifestyle living at
Orchard Crossing Apts of Fairfield is quite amenable here.
