Make your own homemade Fabreze cheap!

Don't spend a small fortune on fabric fresheners-make your own!
Does you your apartment smell not so fresh? Has your lovable pet's smell overtaken the couch? Not to worry, we found a way to freshen up your apartment surfaces for about 15¢ verses the five dollars and change you may normally spend.
Homemade Fabreze Supplies:
  • 1/8 C of fabric softener ( Downy April Fresh works great)
  • 2 tablespoons Baking Soda
  • Hot tap water (enough to fill the rest of the bottle)
  • Spray bottle ( Empty 27 oz. Febreze bottle)
  • Funnel (optional)
  • Whisk
  • Small mixing bowl
Preparation:
Pour fabric softener and baking soda solution into mixing bowl and whisk to mix.
Using a funnel, pour fabric softener and baking soda solution into your spray bottle. Fill the rest of the spray bottle with hot tap water and shake well. Be sure to let the solution cool with the cap off before using or the bottle will swell.
Once cooled, twist the nozzle over to the LOCK position.
Voila! You are now free to go spray every fabric surfaces in your house. Follow the same advisory directions as you would with ordinary Fabreze. (Not recommended for velvet, silk, vinyl, leather, linen or other fine fabrics).
