Resources that lend you a hand...

The Community Action Council (CAC) of Fairfield-Suisun is here for you. Granted, it's difficult to know what all the Solano County resources actually do for our community. Hopefully, we can give you some helpful information to get you started in the right direction.
The CAC provides for basic needs such as

• Food
• Shelter
• Supportive Services including Rental Assistance
• Homeless Assistance & Prevention
• Holiday Baskets and Toys
• Case Management
• In addition we provide Information about and referrals to other community based organizations, churches and/or government agencies that can help our clients with additional needs.

Who qualifies for services?

Simply fill out an intake application. It is then that an interview will be done before you can receive services available. Read more about their Mission Statement.

What you’ll need to bring with you..

• Your California ID/Driver’s License.
• Social Security Cards and/or ID’s for all other family members you are applying for.
• Proof of residence and proof of low-income or emergency situation (certain programs may require additional information).

All these programs and services are free of charge. Preference will always be given to residents of Fairfield and Suisun and Solano County.
